Self-guided Motorbike Rides
As a New Zealand agent for Eagle Rider,I can help making it easy to choose your late model bike, how long you will be riding the roads you have only dreamed about and giving advice where and when you go.
A choice of location means you can go riding Florida in November to December, when unable to ride elsewhere due to the cold in a US winter – and it does get very very cold in Las Vegas and Arizona.
Imagine if your holidays are over Christmas and you can pick up a bike in New Orleans and cruise around the Gulf of Mexico heading to Key West for that perfect break. The options are wide open.
Another option for the colder months in New Zealand is picking up your bike in Los Angeles. See Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Santa Monica then ride simply the best coastal ride in the world, the Big Sur to San Francisco.
Your ride takes you through towering Redwoods, high clifftop roads overlooking the thundering Pacific and small towns known for their great seafood.
Plenty to see in San Francisco and you can stay as long as you like, making sure you don’t miss anything. There are many options in San Francisco and I can give you advice regarding the roads, sights and hotels along the way.
After leaving San Francisco, depending on your time frame, you may wish to ride into cowboy country and see the wonderful old historic towns like Cody, Virginia City and Durango and have a cold beer in a saloon that Wild Bill Hicock once frequented.
Ride into amazing national parks like Yosemite, Death Valley, the Arches and the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon.
I organise with your imput your daily rides, all bike rental, insurances whilst riding, can organise hotels and give out advice on your overnighters.
In the past I have arranged bikes and accommodation for small groups of riders who often meet each other for the first time at their first hotel on tour. Good for those who want a bit of extra company. Haven’t heard a complaint from any and all remain friends and many return for another ride in the near future.
